Stormwind to Auberdine, a Southshore stop and the Riverglades route: Blizzard’s announced boat connections and what remains unverified in the level 30 beta.

What changes for your journey

For Hillsbrad, the useful change is the Southshore stop. Blizzard describes it at 3:07 in its October 9 video, then presents Stormwind Harbor at 3:23. These connections were already announced in September; they are not a confirmed addition from the October 8 patch.

Southshore also starts some of the Dalaran access quests. The boat does not provide the dungeon key: prepare your faction’s quest chain separately.

What still needs checking in the beta

Blizzard establishes the destinations, but these sources give no exact pier coordinates, waiting times, sailing frequency or faction rules for each ship. We have not tested all three lines in the current client.

The Riverglades is announced as a mid-level zone. Its Tanaris route does not establish access at the beta’s level 30 cap. Use this table to plan your journey; boarding details still need an in-game check.
