WoW Forever: best Rogue race, Alliance and Horde
Night Elf for Alliance, Orc for Horde: the viable alternatives, racials and spec exceptions in Forever beta.
The short version
- PvE starting picks: Alliance Night Elf; Horde Orc.
- Assassination/Subtlety: Night Elf or Gnome are strong Alliance options. Combat with swords: Human gains value. Orc is a broad Horde damage choice.
Alliance: preferred races

Only playable combinations are listed. Where a faction has fewer than three eligible races, there is no artificial top three. Gear, encounter, PvP and beta tuning can change the best pick.
