Level 30 Fire Mage: WoW Forever talents and dungeon guide
A full 21/0/0 Fire allocation with icons, ranks and practical dungeon priorities. A playable route, not a simulated DPS ranking.
WoW4EverNEWSFor the players of Forever.
A 21/0/0 allocation with icons and the spells actually available at level 30. Simple priorities for damage, mana and dungeon packs.

Increases the damage done by your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Earth Shock spells by 5%.
Increases the damage done by your Fire Totems and by your Flame Shock, Fire Nova, and Lava Burst spells by 15%.
Reduces the mana cost of your Shock, Lightning Bolt, Lava Burst, and Chain Lightning spells by 4%.
Gives you a 10% chance to enter a Clearcasting state after casting any Fire, Frost, or Nature damage spell. The Clearcasting state reduces the mana cost of your next damage spell by 100%.
Reduces the cast time of your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Lava Burst spells by 0.50 sec.
Reduces the mana cost of your Shock, Lightning Bolt, Lava Burst, and Chain Lightning spells by 6%.
Increases the damage done by your Fire Nova spell by 20% and reduces its cooldown by 4 sec.
Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and Lava Burst by 70%.
Increases the critical strike chance of your Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning spells by 3%.
21 base points · no Legacy bonus assumed · dungeon utility choice, not simulated.
Level 30 Elemental gear →This route chooses ranged spell damage, with Convection to reduce the cost of Lightning Bolt and Shocks. It is not simulated. The final point goes to Call of Thunder; that is a small Lightning Bolt preference, not a spec ranking.
Ranks and prerequisites come from the October 8 Talents Forever export, client 1.60.1.70291. All 21 points are spent as you level, without the five Legacy points.
On one target, place Searing Totem if the fight will last, open with Lightning Bolt, then use Flame Shock if the target will live long enough. Save Earth Shock to interrupt a dangerous cast. In a pack, let the tank establish threat; Fire Nova hits enemies within 10 yards of your active totem. Its cast range is 30 yards, not its radius.
Convection reduces some mana costs, but not Fire Nova’s. Elemental Focus has a 10% chance after a Fire, Frost or Nature damage spell; your next damage spell then costs 100% less mana. Drop Mana Spring for the group and recall totems you no longer need to recover 25% of their cost. Blizzard’s October 7 note also lowers the proc chance for very low-rank spells; do not spam rank 1 to manufacture free casts.
| Spell | Use |

Chain Lightning and Windfury Totem come at level 32. Lava Burst requires talent points beyond the level-30 budget. Water Shield belongs to a different build with Restoration investment, not this allocation.
