Alliance: the verified route

1. 01

   Call of Air · Ironforge → Arathi

   At level 30, Eldrun Stormbreaker sends you to Veyric Thunderhame in the northern Arathi hills, around 60,28. Complete Call of Air for your air totem.

2. 02

   Elemental Aid · Razorfen Kraul

   Loot the Tattered Note from Charlga Razorflank, the final boss of Razorfen Kraul (RFK, not Razorfen Downs/RFD). Return it to Veyric.

3. 03

   Storm, Earth, and Fire · 20 totems

   Collect 5 each of the Twisted Water, Earth, Fire and Air Totems in the zones below. Return them to Veyric.

4. 04

   Heed My Call · Thousand Needles

   Use the Corrupted Totems at the ritual site marked by your quest. The waves include enemies near level 40; bring a group. Loot the Eye of the Tempest and turn in to Veyric.

5. 05

   The Tempest’s Weapons · Alterac

   Bring the Eye of the Tempest to Bath’rah the Windwatcher, around 80,67 in Alterac Mountains. Choose the weapon for your playstyle.

Where do the totems drop?

The October 8 update makes totem drops more frequent and speeds up several respawns. The specified ogre respawn change applies to the large Dustbelch Grotto camp. No reliable drop percentage is published.

Horde route and ritual checks

The current Horde Call of Air record sends you to Prate Cloudseer in Thousand Needles. Subsequent steps differ between guides, and some records retain old rewards; this guide does not present a complete Horde route as verified. Follow the givers and turn-ins in your quest log.

Blizzard now lists the Eye of the Tempest as multi-drop for Heed My Call. Check that every Shaman has the quest before starting. Level 30 unlocks the chain; it does not make the final encounters suitable for solo play.
