What to do after this patch

Blizzard posted these notes on October 8 at 21:32 UTC. These changes affect your next session.

What to do after this patch
ChangeWhat it means
City of Dalaran open for testingThe dungeon is available. This note provides neither its minimum entry level nor a complete route.
Approximately +20% dungeon creature XPThis applies to kills, not quest XP. It does not guarantee 20% more XP across an entire session.
Party XP calculation fixedLower-level enemy penalties are calculated individually. A party member vastly above an enemy’s level can still remove XP for everyone.
16 Legacy Points granted to beta playersOpen Legacy and choose your perks. These are Legacy Points, not 16 class talent points.
Legacy resets start at 1 silverThe cost drops by one reset tier per hour. This temporary rule applies only during beta.
Expanded Cooldown ManagerAll classes, racials and trinkets are supported. Consumables are planned for a later patch.

Class changes worth checking

These are fixes and adjustments, not evidence for a new DPS ranking.

DruidCrits grant +100% Rage, up from +75%. Bear threat bonus rises to 50% from 30%. Mana Potions work in forms; Shifting Power cannot be used at full Energy. Natural Instinct replaces Predatory Instincts and adds healing. Thorns spell-power coefficient falls to 6% from 13.3%.
HunterUnleashed Fury now increases pet damage. Repeated pet health growth is fixed. Expose Prey lasts 10 seconds; trap activation and diminishing returns are corrected.
PaladinReckoning has a 1.5-second trigger cooldown. Mana restored by Improved Seal of Fury and Shield Specialization no longer generates threat. Retribution Aura base damage falls by about 33%; spell-power coefficient is 6%.
PriestPenance is corrected for a 2-second channel: reduced damage and healing, rank 1 mana cost +50%, healing increased on ranks 2 and 4.
Mage / ShamanSeveral spell ranks scale more consistently. Impact no longer triggers from Flamestrike periodic damage; Fire Nova no longer immediately consumes Elemental Focus.
WarlockDemonic Brand’s high threat applies to Shadow damage. Your current demon is stunned while summoning a replacement.
