WoW Forever PvE tier list: tanks, DPS and healers in beta

All 28 PvE role/spec choices ranked for beta dungeon groups. Why each sits in S, A or B—and why this is not a DPS chart.

  • Want the short answer? Protection Paladin or Warrior for tanking; Discipline Priest, Holy Priest or Restoration Shaman for healing; Combat Rogue, Beast Mastery Hunter or Frost Mage for dungeon DPS. These are our editorial picks, not a measured damage table.
  • S means easiest to recommend for a mixed beta dungeon group. A is solid with a clearer condition. B is playable but has a bigger resource, gear or evidence caveat. We weigh group utility, reliability and constraints; we do not rank raid DPS, healing per second or level-60 power. Feral cat and bear are one talent tree in two roles.

The September 24 beta build and known issues can change interactions quickly. A lower tier does not mean a spec cannot clear content. Choose your group role first; check your current talents, available gear and the latest official notes before rerolling.
