Horde: get your own key

1. 01

   Wordeen · Tarren Mill

In Hillsbrad Foothills, pick up Prison Break In and Key to the City from Magus Wordeen Voidglare. The Forever quest records list a required level of 30.

2. 02

   Lordamere Internment Camp

Collect the requested artifacts and the Grimy Key from the Warden’s Footlocker upstairs in the building. Return to Wordeen.

3. 03

Dalaran Patrols → Blood in the Streets

Complete the patrol objectives shown in your quest log, then accept Blood in the Streets. Meet the Image of Archmage Modera by Dalaran’s northern sewers, beside Lordamere Lake.

4. 04

Heart of Disruption · your key

Turn in Blood in the Streets to Modera and accept Heart of Disruption. The Dalaran Sewer Key is provided on acceptance. Bring the dungeon’s Arcane Mote back to Wordeen.

Alliance: reach Modera

1. 01

   Modera · Lordamere Lake

The beta guide updated on October 9 says Alliance players can speak directly to the Image of Archmage Modera for a teleport. She is near the northern sewer approach.

2. 02

   Quest and turn-in

Heart of Disruption provides the Dalaran Sewer Key on acceptance. Bring the Arcane Mote back to Modera. Emissary Jacques in Southshore also offers An Alarming Request to send you there; it is not established as mandatory.

Horde city access can change

On October 9, Josh Greenfield clarified that full Horde access to Dalaran is unintended. The Kirin Tor reputation issue has been fixed internally, with the change expected the following week. That does not establish that every adjustment is already live.

Version and next steps

Checked October 9 against that day’s beta guide and Forever quest records. Introductions list 30 and Heart of Disruption lists 24; neither establishes the portal minimum. English quest names help identify them without guessing official translations.
