Honor and Rank Points do different jobs

PvP kills, battlegrounds and relevant quests award Honor for purchases. Rank Points advance your rank. Highlighted battlegrounds during holiday weeks boost both.

Ranks have a weekly cap. Open C → Player vs. Player to check progress and unlocked purchases. The official screenshot shows a cap increasing each week; it does not supply a complete farming schedule.

Rewards at every rank

Epic upgrades: keep the blue piece

Upgrading takes the blue item and an Emboldened Seal, whose purchase requires the appropriate rank. Plan to keep the base piece rather than assuming a direct epic purchase. Blizzard also describes healer, melee and caster PvP sets for Shaman.

Seasons and Legacy Points

Weekly seasonal tasks award Honor and Rank Points. Three tasks each season also award one Legacy Point each and remain available in later seasons.

Darkspear Islands: the announced battleground

Blizzard also describes a 15v15 battleground for levels 30–60: hold four bases, carry a central flag and reach 2,000 points to win. A level-30 entry requirement alone does not confirm that its beta queue is open.

What the announcement does not settle

These are the rules announced October 7. Complete prices and a guaranteed time to Rank 14 are absent. The reward list does not establish that every epic piece is already usable in the level-30 beta.
