A basic campfire holds three objects, one per player.

The first are learned at profession skill 20.

Buff stacking

Their buffs do not stack with the corresponding class buffs.

Choosing professions with friends

A recent discussion weighs professions that fit a character against ones that might make money. Those preferences can suggest ideas; they cannot establish a launch economy ranking.

Our advice: make a short list with your friends. Who wants to craft gear? Who enjoys gathering? Who mainly wants to sell? Add each planned campsite contribution. You can spot overlaps before three people spend materials covering the same job.

Several friends can still choose the same profession. The point is to understand the choice without assigning somebody a job they dislike.

What to check in beta

An attractive number on a tooltip does not make an object useful for every outing.
