Paladin Retribution in WoW Forever: level 10–20 talent order, selected rank effects and practical advice for adapting your leveling build to solo quests.
Start by shortening Holy Strike’s cooldown. Parry helps when you take hits while solo, then Judgement becomes available more often. This route favors steady questing and does not reach Seal of Command at level 20.
The table allocates all 11 points from levels 10 to 20, without the Legacy Talented bonus. Talent names match the English calculator entries.
| Levels | Talent | Target rank |
|---|---|---|
| 10–11 | Improved Holy Strike | 2/2 |
| 12–16 | Deflection | 5/5 |
| 17–18 | Improved Judgement | 2/2 |
| 19–20 | Conviction | 2/5 |
The first two points go into Holy: Improved Holy Strike cuts the cooldown by 2 seconds at this rank. The route then moves to Retribution, so these are not eleven points in a single tree.
Deflection 5/5 adds 5 percentage points of parry. That defensive choice matters when you take the hits yourself while questing.
Improved Judgement cuts its cooldown by 2 seconds. Two points in Conviction then add 2 percentage points of melee critical strike chance. The level-20 split is 2 Holy and 9 Retribution.
Looking for Seal of Command here? This allocation does not reach it at 20: the two Holy points delay the next Retribution tier. Keep that tradeoff in mind when comparing it with a fully Retribution route.
For quest order, our comparison covers RestedXP, Zygor and alternatives.
